Tomorrow I will be checking the following:
For the quiz, I am using sections 2.6, 2.7 and 3.1 to assess students on. For 2.6 and 2.7 I am more interested in assessing your progress in addressing proofs structures, mainly 2-column proofs and paragraph proofs. I am not looking for students to already know the content, as I will be providing you with a handout to have all the theorems, postulates and definitions to be used in the quiz. The goal is to see if students know the location of ideas, i.e. given statements in the beginning, reasoning in the middle and for the conclusion, restating the conjecture to show it is proven or not. For 3.1, I am assessing students on the content we have reviewed about lines and angles.
In Aeries, the formal quiz is worth 60 points, double the Accountability quiz. The formal quiz will be out of 16 marks.
Review the pages found in the PowerPoint in the previous blog post.
